libbabeltrace-ctf1 software package provides Common Trace Format (CTF) library, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbabeltrace-ctf1
libbabeltrace-ctf1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbabeltrace-ctf1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbabeltrace-ctf1 *
You will get with libbabeltrace-ctf1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
